It's not all hard work in Division 14. Sometimes we carve out some time for fun. Yesterday was one of those times. We got together with our buddies and made gingerbread houses! First, our class constructed the houses ahead of time to let them have time to dry and become a bit more solid. Then we went to our buddies classroom and had a great time decorating. And of course, we didn't eat ANY of the candy (just kidding, we totally ate some candy while building). It was so much fun and very, very yummy. In other news, I wanted to share some photos of the Science projects that the students recently completed. I can not take any credit for these; they were done with Mrs. Anderson. Students have been learning about ecosystems and the transference of energy through a food chain. They had to research an ecosystem and build a diorama to show how the energy is transferred through animals in that ecosystem. But they turned out beautifully so I wanted to share them online. Also, make sure you visit the Art Work gallery to see pictures of our latest masterpieces: Cities of Symmetry. :)
Have a great weekend, Mrs. Vieira
